IMPORTANT NOTE: Our deadlines usually close earlier than announced, so it’s best to submit sooner than later.
We publish constrained design, asemic writing, visual poetry, Oulipian texts, magic realism, surrealism, pataphysics, dada, sound poems, creative nonfiction, lettrism, futurist ephemera, & semantic divertissements. DO NOT SUBMIT WITHOUT HAVING READ AN ISSUE.

MANUSCRIPTS: we prefer Word doc / docx. Length: 1,500+ words / negotiable.
Manuscript must contain your name and email address.
Artwork file names must include your name.
RIGHTS: First rights only. All rights belong to the contributor.
ARTWORK: Submit high resolution (300 dpi) black & white / grayscale images; acceptable formats: JPEG, TIFF, PNG. Our page size: 6 x 9 inches.
TRANSLATIONS: Proof of permission to translate, or public domain status of source text required.
REPORTING TIME: Less than 2 weeks.
Previously published material and simultaneous submissions will not be considered.

IMPORTANT: Since we do not charge a reading fee, we expect each potential contributor to purchase
an issue and read it before submitting. We receive far too many submissions from people who have obviously never seen TYPO.
